This also works for builds, so if there is a bunch of furniture or decor you want to get rid of, you can make a lot with just all of that stuff in it, and save it, It'll show you all of it. Hopefully that'll make it easier to track down where to get the meshes. Thus revealing all of the filenames of your broken CC. Obviously you want to click on the CC tab and it will show you all of the CC used in the making of those sims. To be honest, I actually just begun learning about meshing so I thought i’d share what I’ve learnt with you all. 9 - Then i use de cas unitool to create the sims 3 package with the renumbered meshes. Then in 'geom tools’ tab i renumber the meshes. then you'll see three tabs, General|Files|CC Editing meshes in Sims 4 by Just to get this out of the way, I am in no way a master at this stuff. 8 - open 'sims 3 MeshToolKit’, on the tab 'auto tools for geom’ i auto-assign bones, and auto-create the morphs mesh. open tray importer and click on the saved family. Then after you have saved your sim/sims with corrupt cc on them. So your sim will have only the mods you wish to find and delete. If you find yourself frustrated finding what the filename is of the hair that is bugging you, this is a solution.ĭownload Sims 4 tray importer and then make and save a sim that has all of your broken cc. I would appreciate any feedback - thank you. This works for Objects as well as CAS items. Hello, I've been trying very hard to figure out why I cannot export meshes anymore in sims4studio - I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it, and it still does not work. However there's a much easier way if you use Sims 4 Tray importer. Its hard to find out what mods are broken in CAS or in game because the CC thumbnails arent very helpful. So i'v noticed a bunch of simmers that think that the only way to find out what mods are broken/missing mesh is to go through all the hard work removing files one by one from the Mods folder! You could try just using the old fashioned SL prims in world, build up an idea and then export to your PC and re-open in blender to fix it up, that may be more intuitive for you in the beginning. There are architecture software programs out there also, but those being able to be mesh for in world is doubtful. Blender is free, and while it would be you making the items, it may be the best route to look into. When I came to Second Life from only ever having played Sims Original I was so sad to find out I could not drag a line across the ground and build a mansion I would not imagine it possible as Chic mentioned their TOS while the walls may not be so proprietary the windows and fixtures definitely would be. I was wondering if there was a way to export a sims house file from the game and a simple way to convert it using something like blender to upload it as a mesh object for SL? Any help is greatly appreciated! If not, is there any programs I could use that would be similar to the sims style grid builder (With walls, floors, and roofs)? something I could potentially use without it costing an arm and a leg to use? I'm not worried about textures and whatnot, all I want is the model. and well, one way to build houses efficiently and something I already know how to use proficiently is The sims 2, 3, and 4 build mode. I'm really interested in building for SL.
